Sundowner Houseboat 
You don’t have to be a multi-millionaire to holiday like one. Sundowner Holiday Houseboats has a range of houseboats for hire, from their headquarters at Hope Harbour, Hope Island, on the Gold Coast.
The Rolls Royce of the fleet is the Majestic Lady, a brand-new specially-designed and built 55 foot catamaran cruiser that can comfortably sleep up to 12 people.
There are six bedrooms, each connecting to one of the three spacious and luxurious bathrooms.
For entertaining, there are two full kitchens, upstairs and downstairs, and a huge outdoor area for barbecues and sunset drinks.
The decks are roomy enough to walk around and there’s space for banana lounges. And the creature comforts include flat screen plasma TVs and CD players. The boat is powered by a Suzuki 115hp motor; it’s quiet, reliable and doesn’t blow smoke but pushes the Majestic Lady at a reasonable speed.
