Lost World

Dean fishing

Lost World Valley is 90 minutes drive from Brisbane and sits at the wilderness end of Lamington National Park.

Cow on a ledge

It is an ideal escape from the city grind and there are many farm stays and B&Bs operating in the valley.

Katandra Mountain Farm House

Katandra Mountain Farm House has three bedrooms and a bunk room and is popular with families. The accommodation is fully self contained and comes with a video, book and music library. All guests need to bring is their own food and drink.

Crebra Farmhouse

Crebra Farmhouse is another self contained farm cottage, not far from Katandra Mountain. Guests have access to around 200 hectares of beautiful farmland, and fishing along the Albert River is a popular way to pass the time. The farmhouse can accommodate up to fourteen people and it is also self-contained.

Enjoying the view

Cedar Glen Farmstay offers guests the chance to get their hands dirty feeding animals as well as a host of other farm chores. Cedar Glen has several fully catered or self contained cottages available to guests.

Reflection of fishing

A popular activity at Cedar Glen is admiring Lost World Valley at twilight on one of Cedar Glen's 4WD tours. The view from Jack's Rocks is spectacular and champagne is also served.
