Photography Retreat At Mount Tamborine, in the hills of the Gold Coast Hinterland, photo-journalist Danielle Lancaster hosts regular photography retreats aimed at arming budding snappers with the skills to take great shots.
Over two days and two nights participants learn everything from the technical use of a camera to how to find, frame and light a subject. There are also workshops in digital correction – the art of photoshopping – and plenty of social activities like wine tasting and dinners.
Danielle is a freelance photographer with 25 years’ experience. Her images have graced the covers of magazines, been turned into postcards and featured in her own coffee table book, Out Around the Bulloo. She always has at least one – and often more – professional tutors with her to give students personal guidance throughout the weekend.
